rage

OK, so this story just came across “the wire”: Police Arrest 10-year-old Girl

I am floored. A group of young girls — the youngest 10 years old — literally going crazy on a 22-year-old simply for bumping into one of them. Hair being pulled out. Clothes ripped off. Kicks to the head, the stomach.

Right in the middle of a Target store.

We’re obviously not getting the whole story here, of course. What kind of lives do these girls have at home? What evils have they been exposed to to cause them to react in such a way? What has been done to these girls to foster such rage?

This story is yet another reminder of how broken our relationships are because of sin. What difference does the gospel make in such a world?

In happier news, there’s this story.  Does God still heal people?
